Does your body KNOW when it's a bad time to have a coughing attack (when you're sick)?? Does it pick the most inappropriate times just to torture you??

I think the body knows All morning I was just FINE... as soon as I get my ass on the train & sit next to someone, BOOM - I gotta cough for 5 years WHY I gotta feel like a germ farm infecting people?? And you can feel the people around you recoiling like you have the damn plague

And just now I made a coffee run for myself & a co-worker. I'm FINE the whole way there & the whole way back. But as SOON as my punk ass steps into the lobby where there's people **COUGHING LIKE CRAZY**!!! AND both my hands are full so I can't cover my mouth I'd tried to hold it in, sounding like a damn fool, finally just had to let it out. And there's NOWHERE to sit the coffee down so I'm just blasting the damn lobby I could barely give my co-worker her change without blowing up in her face.

WTF?? Why does my body betray me? Why did I get sick in the first place?

It's all so unfair. I wish I was Beyonce right now... then again everyone would just focus on my good looks instead of my talent There's no winning

Well I do have allergies but they don't make me cough. I'm getting over a cold right now, that's the real problem.

Maybe it's anxiety that triggers it. There's no way I'm totally fine & all the sudden coughing like mad
