The situation with our nephew Golf ~ UPDATED My wife Mon dropped a bombshell on me today. I'd got a call earlier from my brother in-law asking to speak to Mon and it sounded important, but she wasn't home. A couple of hours later after Mon had talked to her brother for a while, she told me that he said he has a new girlfriend and he's going to marry her. Not only that, she's pregnant!
I have no idea what's going to happen now. He couldn't financially support Tik and Golf, so quite how he's going to cope with looking after two children by two different women, I don't know. For Tik, the mother of Golf, it'd be virtually impossible to support herself and Golf without help. She has very little in the way of education or work experience and could only realistically make just less than she'd need to live on each month, and that's not including Golf. I don't know if my brother in-law intends to support Tik financially or not, though Mon said she had a feeling his new girlfriend may have money so he may be in a position to do so if his new girlfriend can support herself and even him too. What a mess. Understandably, my mother and father in-law are beside themselves and just don't know what to think. ... [Edited 7/7/06 6:04am]

saltpeter in your bro-in-law's coffee might help his urges. What a shame for the children..yet, Fauxie, I can't help but feel that as long as everyone keeps bailing the brother in law out of trouble, he's never going to learn. Yes, I know there are children involved, but once he learns that he alone is going to have to take care of his messes...maybe he'll wake up?

Fauxie
Thats definitely a mess. A box of frogs, as my friend would say! What sucks even more is that youre sucked into it by association Yet its so great that you're taking on these responsibilities when theyre not officially your own I hope your brother in law gets his act together
