It looks terrible and appears totally unfaithful to the classic original. What makes the original movie so brilliant is that there's nothing like it. This looks like Hollywood bullshit. Where was Lord Summerisle?! | |

Oh yeah! Brit Eckland! She was a hoot! And I hear she was impossibly difficult to work with! ..Maybe they should've gotten Paris Hilton for this go 'round.
Some group called the Sneaker Pimps did a cover of the song she sang in the movie. I think it was actually called "Come."

I'm a little nervous about a remake (though i'm not against remakes per se, unless they involve Steve "what an unfunny cunt i am" Martin.) Can't watch the trailer on this computer, but I hope it manages to retain the quirky feel of the original. [Edited 7/7/06 5:36am] But Marge! What if we chose the wrong religion?
