It looks terrible and appears totally unfaithful to the classic original. What makes the original movie so brilliant is that there's nothing like it. This looks like Hollywood bullshit. Where was Lord Summerisle?!

I''m told that in this one there'll be a "Sister Summerisle."

Oh yeah! Brit Eckland! She was a hoot! And I hear she was impossibly difficult to work with!

..Maybe they should've gotten Paris Hilton for this go 'round. lol

Some group called the Sneaker Pimps did a cover of the song she sang in the movie. I think it was actually called "Come." redface

That sountrack, actually, is really good. A strange mix of acoustic Irish folk, disco and funk. Freaky stuff.

Really? The Sneaker Pimps have done a lot of really good stuff. Maybe it's worth checking out then, after all.

Britt Ekland was typically gorgeous in that film (as long as you can get past the David Coulthard chin).

Which was a great film. I'm a little nervous about a remake (though i'm not against remakes per se, unless they involve Steve "what an unfunny cunt i am" Martin.) Can't watch the trailer on this computer, but I hope it manages to retain the quirky feel of the original.

But Marge! What if we chose the wrong religion? Each week we just make God madder and madder.

Their cover isn't in the remake. It was done a few years ago.

Weird, I just rented the DVD of the original.According to the documentary they used a body double for certain scnes, I guess the shots where she was shaking her bare bottom.I'm actually looking forward to this remake, but I'm guessing based on Hollywood's track record on remakes, it'll probably be doody .
