I agree. The portion size thing in this country is WAY out of control.

And as for the caffeine thing, yeah, for me it's pretty bad. If I have anything caffeinated past about 10am when I go to bed at night I'll toss and turn till 1am. I can do a weak tea around noon and still be ok usually, but I really have to be careful.
I also honestly get jittery and shaky if I have too much at once.

I had this conversation in London when I ordered a cup of coffee and I got a thimble full. I WANT A BIG GULP COFFEE!!!!!
