Can anyone advise on the best program /method for saving these youtube videos or embedded videos in general?

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know if this works always buy I just watched jerseykrs' fireworks video and then looked at the Temporary Internet Files Folder and ...there it was

Copy- paste it where I want to keep it

It was a flv file so you'll need a flv player.

I use TOTAL RECORDER. It's awesome. You can record anything that you can play on your computer. You can also record old tapes or vinyl.

It's about $12. So it's not that bad.

Yeah, it's a little tricky. You click on the icon, the window comes up and you click away on download and often nothing happens. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. It's a bit weird really. And it's only a 15 day free trial.
