I LOVE CHICAGO!!! I just came back to Sweden from Chicago and it was just amazing!
All the skyscrapes made me feel like beeing a part of a movie. Totally surreal since I've never seen anything like it. I met so many great people thru Ivy.First day we'd been invited by her coworkers to a swedish midsummerparty.Felt so wierd but really cool to celebrate the swedish tradition in Chicago. Also we took a visit down to the swedish village "Andesonville", where lot's of swedes including many of my relatives long way back moved. In the evening we got to the org meet-up at "Berlin". My first org meet-up 
I got to hang with sweet orgers like Brownsugar and Incognito and lot's of other cool people I don't remember the name of at this moment. One of the coolest things was visiting the legendary "Chess records" on 2021 South Michigan ave.Such a legendary place where Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters,Marvin Gaye in his early days,Aretha Franklin,Curtis Mayfield, Donny Hathaway,Chuck Berry,Etta James etc etc have recorded. I also got to have some soulfood over at "Buddy Guy´s" 
Such an amazing & beautiful city that I got to see a whole lot of thanks to Ivy.I can't even explain how sweet,generous and cool she is. Those of you who've had the previlage to meet her in person knows that. I took some nightshots of the city while cruising around with Ivy, having the windows rolled down.Feeling the warm breeze in my hair listening to Ivy singing along with Isley Brother's "Fight the power" 
Thank you sooooo much Ivy & give a big thanks to Marc & Bruce too.

I never got to meet Anx unfortunatly.  He never showed up.

It's interesting that a musician had to be dragged on the dance floor. I felt it was my duty as well as an honor to get Manki grooving to Prince. | |
