Technical question about Tennis.. Hi,
Is anyone into tennis here? Does anyone know the best set of strings u can get for tennis, that dont lose their tension? (ie- strings that keep their tension if u string them highly) A wilson brand is what im after, but there are so many i dont know which to choose. Thanks PurpleHouse The Tao te Ching gives advice to rulers:

strings are going to lose their tension no matter what brand you buy. Find a good raquet stringer, and it will happen less often. I'm not sure why you want your raquets strung so tightly. The ball won't stay on the strings as long, and then you won't be able to apply top/back spin as ably as if you had the strings strung moderately. I used to play with my strings in the high 80's low 90's. They were fine. It also matters the climate where you play

Hi there, yes id like them tight and highly strung (not my women, my racquets!) because u get more control. lower tensions give u more power. the ball flies off the racquet, and usually goes long.. thats been my experience. The Tao te Ching gives advice to rulers:

Thanks PurpleHouse You need to buy the String that comes in a ball, like Cats play with. Then you need to thread it through a tennis racquet, and make sure you pull the string tight enough. Maybe use double bow knots instead of single ones. Like you do your shoes with. Anyway, then once it's tight you can get a ball and play. But Marge! What if we chose the wrong religion? Each week we just make God madder and madder.
