I don't know... I've had long-term 'best' friends of both genders. I've gone through phases of having mostly male and mostly female friends and I've settled the last few years or so on quite a mix of both.

I get along great with women. But I'd say my friends are evenly split.

Come to think of it, I've had one major fallout with a female friend & two major fallouts w/ male friends - men can be some bitch ass mf's

I'm about evenly split between women and men friends, but I get women fairly well (I think) and enjoy talking to them.

When I was younger, I enjoyed my ability to befriend women fairly easily (especially older ones) and found most other dudes too ego-driven to want to be around them.

Now that I'm older, I recognize the importance of balance and try to keep some good male friends in my circle, too.

I get along much better with men, I'm far more comfortable around them. I think, I think more like a guy.... I just don't understand women.

I notice I have more male friends.

But I get along with women great. Both sexes.

Most of my friends have been guys and on the whole I get along better with them. There've been exceptions, but most girls annoy the piss out of me. I think that's why I've never had a proper girlfriend yet, come to think...
