Obviously, your talent and skill went a long way to creating such cool shots. But I wanna be able to take pics like that, too!!! very much the beginners digital SLR - I have an eye for composition, but I don't know any technical stuff!

I'm looking for one too.
What can I get for about 1000 US dollars? I can't afford to spend much more, but don't want to settle for something I'll just want to upgrade the day I buy it. The last camera I had was only a 3.2 megapixel olympus which took o.k pictures. But I want something that takes really nice pictures with the speed of an SLR.

That last one is properly lit despite the contrasting light. Did you use a flash? If so, you must have used it just right. Flash pictures can easily look terrible.

Nice camera!!
I have a little hp 2.1mp camera for the last 4 years but it takes great pictures. I have been thinking about upgrading to a 5 or 6mp but I am happy with the one I have. You can get a pretty nice camera over here for under $300. Don't spend a thousand unless your a professional. Check out my vacation pics from last year. [Edited 7/5/06 7:54am] "

Mach said: this one is nice my husband found a patch of clover after the rain at his dad's birthday BBQ, and when I arrived held the umbrella and everything so I could photograph it he had all the guests waiting with baited breath to see if it was worthy of a photo!
