I have just ordered this as my shite i-pod only plays a song for 20 minutes before dying and wanted to know if anyone has one and likes it etc - good points bad points (if any ;0))

Yes, it's an iPod rip-off, but so much improved. And the battery charge lasts for hours and hours and hours. Plus it plays video

The Meizu isn't that great. Build quality is worse and it's not as big as the sony, nor an iPod by quite some stretch.

Yes. It's what I'd choose over an iPod any day. I had one for 6 months or so until I got given an iPod for christmas. I can't fault the player, but the software i was using was awful...however I hear that Sony have done a lot of work on the software and that now it's pretty good.

Some people think it's too big, but all the advantages outweigh that for me. And with the new Sony Sonic Stage, music transferring is simple now. I have a color screen, super long battery life, a remote and 40 GB for $200. No brainer for me.

Plus I'm not an iWhore.
