Where i live...

Where I live there is always a huge rainbow after it rains. Sometimes it's even a double or triple rainbow and then I get to make a wish on it.

rainbo

For those of you who are in a geek mood today, here is some scientific information about rainbows:

http://www.atoptics.co.uk/bows.htm

And some mythical information about rainbows:
http://www.zianet.com/rai...rrelig.htm

warning: cheesy music on this site

tell me a little something that you like about where you live! biggrin rainbow

We have this guy that stands on the corner of Spring Hill Drive and Mariner Boulevard, probably under 21, and he stands there with his headphones on and bangs his head and screams into an imaginary microphone like he's a rock star. Ask Shanti, she's seen him!!

where i grew up we had this elderly woman who used to drive around the streets in her electrical wheelchair. she had two little american flags taped to the back of her chair and she used to zoom around the streets for as long as I could remember. She was still aroung when I left for college but I think she has since passed away.

We have really agressive, and apparently thirsty, mosquitoes.

From an hour of washing my car Thursday, I have about 10 bites on my legs.

Yay, Nashville animal kingdom! woot!

TY hug he is doing well ...day by day

it's just frustrating to him .. at 48 this is his 1st ever experience with something like this and it's VERY hard for him being as active and independent as he is to ...sit / rest / heal and let others do FOR him

Here in Brooklyn, sometimes the oily residue that coats the gutters can refract the murky urban light in stunningly beautiful ways rainbo

Even the rats stop scurrying and gape.

i remeber when i used to live in Brooklyn, I would get off the train at just about sunset and light would hit the buildings in this really beautiful way. It made them look almost one dimensional.

Tennessee has some of the most stunning mountains I've ever seen. omg I love to take drives to other parts of this wide state, just to drive through the mountains.

Stunning.
