ooohh..you just touched a bad nerve bringing up ebay !

last week , i was the high bidder for 4 days on a michael jordan bulls/bullets jersey at $16.50. i put my max bid at $40.00. i go to work, come home 8 hours later and i was outbid by $1. evil

this week, somebody in the UK had the Lovesexy Live laserdisc for $5. i put my high bid in for $25, went to work, came home and was outbid by $1 again. evil

i don't want to put in some ridiculous high bid just to win something, but i'm pissed that these auctions always end while i'm at work and not near a PC
you look better on your facebook page than you do in person hmph!

I hear your frustration. I think it's time you looked at a wireless web or data device that would allow you to monitor your auctions.

I'm usually outbid by 25 cents, and it drives me nuts.

i think deep down i don't really care if i "win" the stuff or not..i just hate for somebody to get something i wanted smile

i'm not gonna pay $50 for a lovesexy live laserdisc, i'm sorry evillol

that being said...i'm the high bidder on another mj jersey with 3 days to go lol

Wouldn't answering that question honestly be counterproductive for us hopeful bidders?

lol

I'm having a problem with "used" music items that skip when I get them.

They're almost impossible to return, yet ebay doesn't consider it fraud so leaving a negative comment isn't the norm.

not really, because it's very unlikely that I am going to see what you are bidding on and by seeing it that would make me want to buy one too.

i'm not upping my bid. i swear sometimes these sellers get people to do phantom bidding to hike the demand/price up. pout
