instances where your inner-child beat up your adult sensibilties

so i'm in walmart yesterday to pick up an inexpensive cell-phone for my mom (her land line phone is down, and the tech can't come until next wednesday) i walk back to the electronics area and let out a muted squeal to myself when i saw this dvd staring me right in my face:

cloud9 cloud9 cloud9 cloud9 cloud9 cloud9 cloud9

i threw it in my cart immediately biggrin
anybody else have a momentary relapse of adult responsibilities and just gave in to your inner-child?

I love the Charlie Brown Holiday Specials giggle

I think my inner-child beats up my adult sensibilities everytime I take a road trip and spend lots of money to see Prince in concert.

And baby will win every time woot!

Every day...for example, last night when I was watching a movie I mentioned that "I'm the person people want to throw popcorn at in the theater." And the reason why is that I can't resist the urge to make some sarcastic or humorous comment during scenes that are supposed to be sad or sweet or whatever...I'm sure I irritate people; plus I'm a hypocrite because I hate it when people do that to me. lol But I try to be quiet in the theater. Really I do.

My inner child's name is Herman. cool

It is perfectly mature to spend a whole weekend playing the same computer games as you used to play when you were eight.

hmph!

i'm thinking that now...but i have one of those 75-in-1 games controllers that have a lot of the old SNES games on it (super mario, track and field, duck hunt), and i may play it once a month. i also bought a virtual ping pong game from spencer's that let's you play ping pong against the computer or a friend (kinda like a lower value nintendo wii), plus i have my ps2 and xbox. i just don't know if need the atari to go woth all that (since i have a lot of the games on my computer anyway)..the graphics look okay on my 19" monitor, but will suck ass on the 60" hdtv

I have old computer cases and components lying everywhere in my home these days. It's summer and companies are aign throwing away their old comps so I go on a dustbin binge and rescue anything that I find usable, so I can build functional units on them (maybe one out of four). But I usually also end up with an apartment filled with the rest of the trash. confused
