strange dreams

I had this dream that I had something in my nose and it had to be taken out and when they took it out it was a mouse. It was white and had red eyes and was kind of dead.

what odd dreams have you had lately?

I can't remember them, but I'm always drenched in sweat if I had a vivid dream.

really? Ive never woken up drenched in sweat. This was vivid, I could see the mouse clearly after it was rescued from my nose and I remember feeling frightened.

I don't know if you've ever had dogs, but they have dreams, too. My dog used to move his paws around a bit when he was sleeping. We figured he was probably chasing a cat or a rabbit. smile

never had a dog, unless you count the two legged variety..boy was he a hound. Anyhow, they probably dream about chasing a lot.

I've had a few dreams over the last week or so about coloring my hair. The dreams are different every time, but in them the activity is coloring my hair. It reminds me of the reoccurring dreams I had for a few years about losing/looking for my shoes.

I wonder what the coloring my hair thing means. hmmm

Yeah.

Maybe it meant that you want a smaller garden, as mowing the lawn is a nightmare.

oh goodness. I have loads of them. I write them down sometimes. In my dreams I often wake up from dreaming and have those whole dream within a dream things. I go through floors and ceilings to take myself to different dreams. I can lucid dream if I realize I'm dreaming. Sometimes I don't.

I once had a dream where I was in the middle of a desert at night. It was pitch black, except for one streetlight, which I was next to, which was positioned on the edge of a hole going down so deep I couldn't see the bottom, from which I could hear moaning and some kinda alien noise. I walked away cause the noises scared me and turned around to find the streetlight bending and extending like some kind of over-stretched spring down the hole. I watched it, then woke up. That was it. No dialogue, just artistic brilliance. Beautiful, yet terrifying.

I have never realized I'm dreaming and done anything with that information...but sometimes if I wake up and I'm still really tired and almost asleep, I will think really crazy things in some in-between state. Just in a matter of seconds, though.

That's kinda how it starts. Pay closer attention during those half awake moments. I somehow did it once and I've been able to lucid dream ever since. I can get myself out of nightmares too. Sometimes I can control the whole scenario, what I'm dreaming about, what's happening around me, etc. and sometimes I can only control my own actions in the dream. I adore sleeping. lol I thoroughly enjoy my dream life. I could spend days inside my head. redface

I had a nightmare the othernight that Trent Reznor kiddnapped me and took me to this warehouse and put me inside thsi glass coffin thing and forced me to listen to every song he's ever written at ear splitting volume while many lights flashed in front of me. Then Byron busted in went up to Trent, switched the machine, stereo, light thingy off and told Trent to " Stop with the ridiculous nonsense" and Trent looked down at his shoes and mumbles "sorry"....then I woke up.... giggle

I think this proves that I should stay away from Spooky. lol
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

cool

I could spend days in my head too, but some people call that insanity and they're probably justified.

I'm not sure it would be good for me if I could control my dreams. I might have to do tons of laundry.
