OMG! my FAVORITE celebrity meet in nyc yet!

So, i was goign to the bank across the street from my office in midtown east, and the pank is next to the Four Seasons here in nyc, and who should walk out of the four seasons while i am finishing my cigarette?

JOHN FUCKING CLEESE!

i know he's not exactly madonna or other huge celeb nowdays, but as a HUGE monty python fan and a student of comedy, this is as good as it fucking gets!

i could not resist saying hello, and i gushed about what a big fan and how much of his comedy style i have studied and stolen for myself. he laughed and said "well, be sure to send me a royalty check if it works out for you then."

very VERY cool!

I love John Cleese. I love Monty Python. I love Fawlty Towers. I have his books.
He however, has not aged well.
he seems like he's gotten a little nastier as he's gotten older.
Silly walks...hehhehe

The only reason the said parrot remained in an upright position was the fact that his little feet were stapled to the perch!

actually, kinda. he is INSANELY tall, and has the longest legs, which seem to have gotten kinda stiff with age. he walks with his chest leaned forward, and flat butt back which looks weird enough, but add stilt like legs to the equation

I was in Florida back in March at the Hurlburt AFB doing some training. A bunch of my classmates were in the dining hall when in walks R. Lee Ermey. Now, any fan of Full Metal Jacket will recognize this guy a mile and a half away. He was filming an episode of Mail Call on the base. He was super nice about signing autographs while we disturbed his luch.

SUPERCOOL!

actually, i love the shit out of him. for not being an actor and only having one character (himself) he is an incredible screen presence.

i saw larry king walk by a few weeks ago wearing a leather coat in scathingly hot weather looking to be about 160 years old.

i just let him go by while saying nothing.
