I've had a little girl's voice whisper the answer to a question i asked myself in my head whilst lying in bed. I felt her breath on my ears. I have 3 brothers. There are no girls in my family. I've had visions in my head whilst asleep of a girl with long brown hair in my room and have often felt like someone's there. Whatever it is, and I don't beleive there's anything to be honest...since when this has happened it's been bedtime for Ben, it's harmless.

I really do think that whatever is around here isn't a "ghost", but just a whole lot of bad stored up feelings that manifest from time to time.

It can be bad. But so can a lot of other things....

I do. Sometimes I feel my grandma's presence, and I can feel good and bad vibes in a house, or in people. But I'm not afraid of anything like this, because we don't live in the same reality. I think the more you believe (or want to believe), the more the links can be felt.

Bad stored feelings can (IMO) attract bad vibes, bad spirits. But I still don't have a proof it's true.

yes..and i have seen them..of course not in america..

the first ghost i saw was when i was 10 in mexico,
i was walking past this abandon house and i saw a woman there standing outside the door..i walk like a couple steps look back the woman wasn't there.
i always tend to get very spirtual either in mexico,el salvador,spain.

oh yeah i of course expirement in automatic writting which has some spooky incidents..would anyone like to hear?

My sister and I and a number of friends all have experienced similar things at the Port Arthur site (well known ghost appearances have been there) in Tasmania.

This was before the horrible massacre which occured some years ago....

In my case, we were standing with the tour guide in one of the prison cells and i felt a breeze on my neck and ear and a voice which seemed to say "hhhhhelllooooo" quite distinctly... and of course there was no one in my immediate vicinity at all because i was back in a corner, away from the group.

it creeped the hell out of me and i almost immediately told my family... and of course, my sister says a similar things happened to her the same day.... later I found out friends who had visited the site had similar feelings/experiences, too.

i don't know.. it was quite real at the time.. i believe it's possible that spirits stay or come back to this realm just to freak people out because they are lost... but i think they are harmless, in any case. it wouldn't surprise me if they were real phenomena... i believe in God and "aliens", so i may as well add that to the "nutty" list.

Joe Nickell, a paranormal debunker, has gone to about ten thousand haunting sites and has yet to find a real haunting. Ghosts are a possibility, as our many things, but I doubt it. Boo.

When I was younger I was home alone, in my room doing homework with my dog at my feet. Suddenly he gets up and the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. He proceeds towards the Living Room, growling and barking at an empty sofa. This went on for a solid 2 or 3 minutes. He circled the sofa, menacingly, and even sniffed it but did not actually touch the sofa. It was as if a stranger had been sitting there.

A few years later, I was at home with my cousin (no one else home) watching TV. Suddenly, we hear a loud stomp above us and a series of footsetps leading from one end of the (empty room above) to the other. We immediately thought a burglar had gotten in. Soon my dad and brother arrived and we all went upstairs (with bats in hand) to check it out. Of course, it was empty and no signs of entry.

4 years ago my wife & I were watching TV and the kids were in bed. Then at about 10:30PM we heard what sounded like my (then 2 year-old) daughter crying in bed. I went upstairs to check on her, and discovered that she's actually laughing. I asked her what's wrong, and she merely pointed towards a dark coner of the room and giggled coyly, hiding her face beneath the covers and peeking out towards that same corner. This went on for about 20 minutes, with her giggling as if someone were making her laugh. I of course was spooked, and I told my wife; "someone must be visiting her". The next morning my wife gets a call to say that her grandfather in Puerto Rico had passed away during the night... at about 10:30PM.
