Recap....Since we last spoke, I had just went through a crushing break-up (aka I was dumped) after 6 years. Moved back to NC, living with the parents, started to heal, read two books, learned about me and him and all the crap that contributed to the break-up. Picked myself up, said 'i will not be a victim.' Surrendered all (as Oprah says).

Took a trip to NY two weeks ago to clear my mind and see some friends. Had a blast, boosted my self worth, went to my old employer at the Chocolate shop in Soho and they asked me to move back and manage the store. Found a guy that is renting his place on the lower east side (fully furnished). I will live by myself and not with three crazy roomies.

Back in NC, sold just about everything I own, EVERYTHING.

Starting a new chapter of my life. Should be in NY by July 10th. Everyone here was so supportive during the crashing of my life (May 8th) I just had to say thanks again. Everyone said it would be OK and I would be fine but at the time I did believe it.

I am alive, looking and feeling FABULOUS!

that's great for you and something i need to do as well.. i just got out of an 8 year relationship so i know EXACTLY what you mean... life is just unravelling for me right now... it can stall, but life never really stops... just moves in a new direction soon enough
