( other then by you waking ? ) you know what? i look at it this way people try to stress you out because they know they cannot rattle you, so they do what they can to try and rattle you due to no security, i have one manager at my job who refuses to look me in the eye, why?.. because i pose a threat. so he does what he can to rattle my fuckin' cage. so guess what, i thought to myself this morning to snap the fuck out of it, there's no reason to stress out because of some clown. time to move forward and grooooove. pk has been a great help to me with this. cus trust me had i been by self?... oh man.. Definitely does sound stress and job related...especially since you hate it and would like to quit.
Someone gave me wise advice in that regard: nothing is in the unwritten rule book that says you have to love your job. If you are stuck in one (because of financial reasons or otherwise), begin to live for your personal life, and just recognize your job as 'what you do during the day in order to be able to do the things you want to when work is over'.... It helped me a lot to put things into perspective.....the role I am in right now is not me...it doesn't define who I am, it doesn't reflect my persona, it does not allow expression of my creativity....but I come in to work do the best job I can...then I am happy to leave at night to really do what I love and enjoy... I hope this helps....and I agree with the person who said you need to make sure you eat right, take vitamins, exercise.....and do what makes you happy on your off-hours. Go get a checkup! yeah i have to do things that are relaxing and not so stressful, because dammit it's killing me,last night i felt like someone had thier hands on my throat and i woke up gasping for air. A suggestion: google "sleep apnea" and see if you have any of the symptoms listed. I discovered that I have this sleep disorder, which can cause a variety of health problems. Your description of waking up and being unable to breathe is the very definition of sleep apnea: you stop breathing during sleep and you wake yourself up because your brain realizes it's not getting the oxygen it needs. This happens over and over, without the sleeper even realizing it. | |
