There are a lot of questions and a mystique to women of color. You do not see our exotic features everywhere and hardly on TV. What you do see of us on TV doesn't even cover a minute part of our spiritor answer any of your questions about us. I have received some of the craziest comments from caucasians. "Wow, your hair is so curly soft." "How did you get your hair to do that?" "Your color and your eyes are so different." Just crazy! It is because you do not come in contact with us as much as you do your average caucasian model. You see blondes and brunettes 95% of the time to the point of seeing them is old hat. You are so used to it, it no longer draws your attention. Dark colored complexions and deep brooding eyes are a surprise to see and your drawn in. If women of color were blasted in the media like other models you probably would not be so drawn to it. It is different and exotic to you. Don't fret about it. Just pull up your boot straps and enjoy the ride.

To be honest...I prefer dark skinned boys, but the relationship I am in now is with a light skinned one. Everyone has their preferences but we all move in and out of those preferences until we find what is 100% right for us. Just my
