Another ridiclulous thing is doing credit checks on potential employees! I understand a police/background check, but a CREDIT CHECK??? Way back in the day the FIRST time I went to college and drug testing was first making waves, I wrote a paper for an American Government class.
The paper had to involve an issue and its constitutionality, so I picked drug testing as the debate had started. I called it "To Pee or Not to Pee" I got an A. Instructor wrote that my paper was the only one that made him laugh. True story. I'm firmly planted in denial |

Who Ricky Williams? He used to be one of the top running backs in the NFL(American football). At the height of his career, he quit. Largely because pot was a big part of his lifestyle in Miami and he didn't want to give it up. At the time of his early retirement, he was about to be suspended for failing a 3rd drug test. He came back after a year or two in retirement, played a season, and ended up testing positive for a fourth time just recently. He's now out of the NFL and playing in Canada.  What a waste of talent. | |
