well...Louis GOssett Jr played the alien and he was pregnat at the beggining of the movie and like halfway through gave birth and then died. Thus leaving the human to raise the alien baby. They got along well though....blah blah blah, U know the rest of the story.

Good??? C'mon! - stereotypical characters - stereotypical situations - sterotypical villains - ridiculous & cliché dialogues - cheap special effects which look like a 50's movie - space pilots who behave like 14 years-old children - poor kitsch music - unimaginative filming - cheap plastic landscapes (compare Tatooine & the Enemy Mine planet, u'll c what i mean.) - poor Star Wars emulations (the pilots dialogue at the beginning is a true X-Wing conversation, & the only monster on the planet looks like the Rancor & "hunts" from sand-holes like the Sarlaac, & they shoot his tentacule like Han did 2 save Lando!!!) - enormous illogical mistakes in the script (c'mon: at the beginning they fly 2 minutes away from the space station then crash on an unexplored planet & nobody can find them... 2 minutes away from the base ?! Then they spend what, one week 2gether & the alien speak perfect english, including abstract concepts, & it goes on like this, etc...) A good movie, huh? But now maybe u were 12 when u last saw it. I was & i liked it then. But now i'm an adult... [Edited 6/24/06 6:01am]

it wasn't a good movie, it was a great movie. They must be bugging. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.
