Okay, i'm studying at school right now and there is a girl here who has all of her study materials out on the table before her but it totally konked out on the couch. I mean she is wearing pajamas, sleeping on a pillow that she must have brought from home, and lightly snoring. She is out cold.

I find this amusing and understandable, especially if she has exams all next week. I usually just pass out in front of my computer with my fac down in my notes but this girl came prepared with a pillow and everything!

Do you ever sleep in public? On the bus or on the job or wherever?

I hate sleeping in public and won't do it...I don't know why but sleeping is so very personal to me...just no.

If I'm sleeping in public, it's a sure sign that I had a BAD night.

I''d find a couch between classes during college to take naps in the library.

someone just woke her up and told her she was snoring. now she's studying quietly. poor thing.

I've slept on busses, planes, and trains, and in airports.

I've napped in the sculpture gardens (in Mpls) on the grass. I've slept on the floor of Paddington Station in England. I slept outside on the ground at a train station in England as well. I've snoozed away afternoons at beaches (always in the shade).

So swimming nude in public is okay, but sleeping in public weirds you out?

My uncle owns a furniture store and there was this play going on at a theatre that had all these vendors and my uncle was one of them. So he had these soft as HELL suede couches with these big ass pillows with trimmings and lace set up at his spot, and I was supposed to be there handing out flyers to the customers but oooooh gurrrrrlllll I sat down on that couch and it was game over. I was K.T.F.O. The people passing by me thought I was a bum

I got wasted once and fell asleep at my desk with a glass of wine in one hand, the bottle in the other. It was 4pm in the afternoon. Tonnes of people must've walked in, and bearing in mind that drinking in school is not allowed I can't help but wonder what they thought

I do some of my best work whilst asleep.

I only close my eyes and have very light cat napz if i'm crazy tired. I can't physically let myself sleep in public, im paranoid someone will try something or i'll wake up n some weirdo is staring me in the face! Also the idea of lots of people staring at me cause im sleeping in public is another factor- i can't relax knowing there are gonna be eyes all over me...i'd rather flake out on the couch when i get home.
