Laundry. I live on the top floor of my building, the washer/dryer are in the basement, and there are only two for the whole building, so sometimes I get everything put together and hauled down there and they're both in use. pout AND it's three bucks to wash/dry a load. And once it's done, I hate putting it away.

I dislike doing dishes almost as much. It's gross to me, and leaning over the sink hurts my back. I'd honestly rather clean a litter box (after years of vet tech/animal control work, cat shit is just not a big deal to me).

I love living alone, but it was nice to have a partner to split this stuff up with. He didn't mind laundry at all, and was ok with dishes. What he didn't like was the kind of deep cleaning where you have to move everything off the counters and clean out the fridge, and scrubbing down the bathroom, decluttering and organizing, stuff like that. Which I don't really mind.

It's important to keep up on the task and then it's not so bad. It's when a person lets the box go for days without scooping that it's almost unbearable to do. Still better, imo, than picking up dogshit, though.

nod Agree with you on keeping up with the litterbox and not letting it go for days. I scoop mine out daily, because with three cats, it's a necessity. Plus, if I don't, it starts to smell bad real quick. whofarted

I for one do not mind cleaning my dear little cats litter. I use the New & Improved with Odor Eliminating Carbon (for maximum Odor Control) Fresh Step brand. It works great! I clean it each morning before going to work... sometimes cleaning it at night as well. It's keeping up on the shit that is important. lol

i don't mind cleaning out my cat's litterbox. at first it was kinda like "eww", but as time goes on it doesn't really phase me. the only thing that does bug me is that hohner is a friggin madman when it comes to covering up his poop. after he pees he'll just cover it with a few swipes of kitty litter and be on his merry little way...but after he's pooped, he goes into total "ohmigod, that's GROSS!!! gotta cover it up NOW!!!!!" mode and just gets litter everywhere while covering up his business...i gotta sweep up my bathroom floor damn near everyday because of that.

sometimes i think about toilet-training the little bastard...it'd make things so much easier. lol

my boy cat is like that, too. he uses ALL OF THE LITTER in the box just to cover his business. it pisses off my girl cat to no end. giggle

i've been cleaning litter boxes since i've been a child so they don;t gross me out at all. In fact in the 15 or so years that i've been cleaning litter boxes, i have to say that the advancements that have been made in cat litter are amazing. i love the clumping litter! it's great! Fresh step cedar is my favorite right now. Instead of smelling like a nasty cat box, it smells like a cedar closet. giggle

Cleaning up dog poop is nasty, though. shake makes me want to vomit.

I've felt this way a long long time, but the bounty hunter D.O.G. said it well on his show "Vacuming is something you can see getting done, and you can know you are doing a good job". That's a paraphrase.
