When I said little brother, that's not an accurate description. He'll always be my "little brother" but he's not little nor does little refer to his age. He's in his 40s. His educational path was not contiguous from grade school to where he is now. There was a stint in the military after which he entered college. While attaining his B.A., he also had a job. Until he obtained the Dean's Fellowship at Vanderbilt (taking finances out of the equation) he paid for his education on his own. I saw many at the commencement that were much older than him. So I said all this to say, it's never too late. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 Wow, that's even more impressive. Big props and congrats to him for sticking with it and reaching his goal. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

i wanted to write a doctoral dissertation in civilization... then i decided against it, more or less, and now i'm questioning that decision... there are so many pros & cons in both directions. what to do, what to do??? it's not too late, but i ought to decide in a couple of months, at least. i'll talk to my professors about this next week. Go for it. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

tA swung through for the graduation and spared some time with us after getting into Nashville. And, surreptitiously took care of the check, the stinker. Thanks for the reminder that it's never too late. You're too kind. I've been blessed in the family department. My uncle, my brother, two of my cousins are medical doctors, and my sister is in her final year of medicince. I took a completely different route by which I mean lawyers consult me on medical evidence and how best to go about suing the pants of incompetent doctors Wer ist dort? Unterbrechende Kuh.
