Very modern. And it's a lot smaller than it looks in the pics. It's not SUV sized at all. Unlike the PT Cruiser, which I thought was kinda cool when it came out, but now it just looks kinda bloated to me. And what about aerodynamics? 100 years of theory flushed down the toilet. I mean THAT THING can't pass a wind tunnel test Can't you see that?

I PT Cruisers, they are so cool looking. Every time I see one of these on the road, I have to look at it. PT Cruisers are just so stylish. Those look like Roger Rabbit cars . I have a friend who rolled hers when she hit a patch of black ice. Consider the Yaris. It has an outstanding MPG.
I've been thinking about buying a car for at least a year...

Unless you're frequently commuting on the Autobahn, you could drive a Model-T and not worry much about wind shear. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

I would NOT buy a car that's NOT made in Germany but ACURA really makes a dependable car....and gets decent gas mileage also.

I saw one parked on my street in Seattle just the other day. It was parallel-parked, and I couldn't see the plates, so I don't know if it was someone visiting from British Columbia or a grey-market car modified and legally imported into the U.S. Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |

I would way go Scion before PT Having never driven a Scion, I don't have anything to say about them. But I once got a PT Cruiser as a rental car (I'd reserved an economy car ), and it exceeded my expectations. To be sure, my expectations are always low whenever I get an American car as a rental. (Give me a Nissan Sentra from National/Alamo, and I'm happy.) But I thought the handling was pretty decent... probably the best of any American-made rental car I've driven. And the analog clock on the dash was a nice touch... it reminded me of the Fiat Spider I used to own. My main gripe about the PT Cruiser was the layout of the controls. The placement of the window switches in the middle of the dashboard really bugged me. (And the one request by the Customs officer when I came back from Canada was, "Would you please roll down the rear window?" ) Don't get me wrong -- I wouldn't buy a PT Cruiser if I were in the market for a car -- but you could certainly do worse.
