you cant throw a rock in nyc without hitting a celeb. ryan has a lot of talent, his cd is actually one of my favorites of the last year (and i am not saying that because he is a friend) but he has some obstacles to overcome before he is a celeb, primary of which is his sexuality. he is a very out and proud gay man, but yet he refuses to admit that in his music, because he thinks it will limit his success. because he is playing it safe, his music won't ever open itself up to his full potential, because he writes and then finely combs over it to make sure that it doesnt reveal to much.
