My nick name was Sunshine. My dad would call me that because of my smile. After he passed away, it went with him until Harlem Nights came out.
My mother had to remind everyone in the family and when my friends came over. That was horrible for me! Wanted: Virtual Sugar Daddy to help me buy stuff on Farmville and move up the ranks. Use of Viagra not authorized. Get your two minutes and go! | |

Fortunately, my dad stopped calling me his embarrassing nickname for me by the time I was in kindergarten. Must have had something to do with the fuss I put up with it, by the time I realized how embarrassing it was.
And, no, I ain't tellin'. 
As for visiting girlfriends, he always likes to break out the baby/toddler in-his-underwear pics from early childhood...  Good thing I always forget about that around Father's Day. | |

Nothing embarassing... "Tom-Tom" or "Tommy". My aunt used to call me "Too Much" and occasionally still does.
My kids hate the nicknames we've given them. When they started school, they made us promise not to call them by their nicknames! "Chuchis" and "Pops" or "Papas" |
