Freaky Photos

I don't understand the technobabble explaning how the photographer did this. But I'm very impressed. He's shot real-life buildings and made them look like models. It's weird!!!

basically when you photograph huge things, everything is focused sharp, has tiny details, and sometimes has low contrast (grayer blacks) because there is so much air and haze in between the camera and the subject.

When you photograph tiny things, typically only part of the image is in focus, there are not tiny technical manmade details, and the contrast is high (the blacks are blacker/).

Also, ufoclub, what is that on your head in that avatar? It's bugged me for a few days now. It looks like one of those things doctors/dentists use to reflect light into the mouth.
