Why didnt anyone stop Joel Schumacher??
Tim Burton set the mood and Schumacher decided on another "vision".What does a director have to do before he gets fired?
IMO one of the worst movie crimes to date.

The Godfather 3 pissed me off to no end. What a waste of film

I think the Schumacher Batmans were very, very original visually, certainly I haven't seen any other big budget movies that looked exactly like that. I'm not sure whether his vision was that good at all on the other hand, but there's something very unique about them no matter what.

The latest Batman flick I liked exactly for the same reasons, it's yet another unique take. On the other hand, it's sort of funny how every director in the world hungers for a chance to get to create their own vision of Batman. As if Batman was the most viable source material for avant-garde expression.

Alien Resurrection - Not sure about who directed it etc.

After the awesome Alien, The fantastic (lets face it - not many sequels are this good) Aliens and the barely passable Alien 3 - Alien Res was probably the most dire bag of poo I have seen. The story was weaker than a pint of beer in a dodgy pub !!!

What makes it worse, being a Billy No Mates, I sat in the cinema all on my lonesome watching this.....

and please, Don't get me started on Titanic.....

I can forgive the poor dialogue in the 4th film to , its not as if Arnie was ever renowned as a great thespian after all and Uma Thurman is a great sexy Poison Ivy . I've watched them both well over a dozen times , someday soon I may watch Batman Begins for a 2nd time , now thats a waste of celluloid ...

I bought the Aliens Special Edition DVD and was so damn upset about it. I stuck it in the DVD player and the Sound was off by 2 or 3 seconds - Drove me insane !!
