Ladies, don' t you hate it when.... you put on a new pair of hosiery...something niks it and then it puts a run in your brand new stockings???
or when you wear either a blouse or a pair of slacks or a skirt that you just got out of the cleaners and then you spill something on it? Or some food/sauce spills on it???  I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. | |

 I can't remember the last time I've worn stocking,tights,hosiery. Well, I think I was in 5th grade when I had on some purple tights. You remember those babydoll dresses? I wore a lot of babydoll dresses when I was about 16-17-ish. I was so damn cute. 
As for runs, I don't wear nylons, opaque tights only and they tend to be hearty enough they won't run the first time putting them on. It's still annoying when they do, though. |

I had one that was similar to that one, except it had little purple flowers on it. I swear Babydoll dresses,Sam & Libby ballet flats with the bow on the front were the story of my life back then That was around the time when I wanted to wear those bodysuits with the little snaps at the crotch,
 but my mama told me I was too young to wear it I eventually got a navy blue one with big bell sleeves and ruffles against my mama's word. It looked like something Prince would wear , but I loved ruffles back and they seemed to be everywhere. I hated the way the snaps at the crotch felt and it was a pain in the ass whenever I tried to use the bathroom, so that was the end of bodysuits for me. I think back now and wonder how women dealt with wearing those.

"s" [Edited 6/14/06 11:24am] I had all of this stuff. Babydolls were cute though (came from the 60s first, and sort of in the 20s as well) in the early 90s.  Anyone remember around this time whem women wore jackets/blazers and had those little elastic clip things that would clip onto the back of them to cinch in the waist? And chokers. Velvet chokers. It makes me think of 90210.

Yeah I hate it - it seems whenever I wear nylons I always either get a hole in them or run them. Of course it doesn't help that I buy the cheap kind - but it still makes me mad. Then you're all self-conscious about the stupid run. I just put a nice hole in my black nylons. UGH! | |

 Girls used to wear those chunky heels all the time. You're right.....a lot of the 90's trends were just rehashed from the 60's & 70's.
How could I forget about Keds 
they had those funny looking rice krispies soles that I used to love. My mama was crazy about those so she'd always buy them for me. Keds,Converse,L.A Gear, and Sam & Libby were brand name staples in our house. I'm starting to get all teary eyed thinking about 90's fashion I know I'm leaving out a lot, but I'd be here all day naming out every 90's trend.
