I got a stiffy!!!

Oh, my neck is so knotted up, I don't know what I am to do.

I've been having a stiff neck come on for the past couple of days, but now it's so bad I can hardly look up.

Funny thing is I didn't really do anything phyically stressful with the muscels.

I find it very funny how lifes' little stresses can effect you phyically. Maybe I should not carry the weight of the world on my shoulders, then I wouldn't have such a stiff neck.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.

What's a trigger pain? What I truly think it is, is my mother-in-law. You know how people might say soandso is a "pain in the neck"? Where did you think that statement came from? Thus, my mother-in-law is a pain in my neck.

That could in all seriousness be it. I went to school for massage therapy, and stress=pain!

Yes! But, what is a "good pillow"?

I do strange things to my pillow at night. The one I have now is a microfiber, like memoryfoam, pillow that cost about 30 dollars. It stands up to my abuse. But what is this good pillow really?

I just realized I never answered your initial question.....I'm good for that.

Anyways trigger pain is pain that appears in one spot (your neck) but the REAL problem is going on in another spot (like your elbow or something). You said you don't do anything phsyically stressful to those muscles. so it could just be a trigger.
