I hope you feel better. The last time I had food poisoning it was coming out of both ends. I didn't know what to do. They need to make some sort of bathroom contraption for that sort of thing.

I once bit into a rotten hamburger that I had already swallowed a few bites of... what followed was two days of fever so high that I hallucinated in my dorm room. No other symtoms except for an incredible intense fever.

I haven't eaten a thing all day.

There is a nasty flu virus going around that landed two people I know in the hospital. If you don't feel any better tomorrow, go to the doc.

Last September I got so sick (with what I assume to be from bad dim sum or monkey outbreak virus) that they had to call the paramedics to my house. I couldn't stop passing out. And the fever! But the headache was the worst part of it. Unbearable.

Now there's the lovely part of the story: nothing.

They came in and asked me to sit up (between passing out of course) and yelled in my ear, "You have the flu really bad!" duh

"Just drink water. You're dehydrated. " No shit. As if I hadn't been doing that. My husband had to feed me water for days, and the paramedics were finally called after the 4th day of extremely severe diarrhea.

And then they left. Later I called my sister who is a paramedic and she said, "Damn! They didn't even start an IV? I guess you have to be bleeding out of your eyeballs to get help in Holland." Which is so very true, don't get me started.

I'm calling it gastro. I feel rather weak but i'm trying to keep awake so i can monitor myself
