ThreadBare said: - I absolutely detest mayo and most other creams and salad dressings. Not big on creamy things.
I had a bf like that... he made me nuts He didn't like anything creamy or breaded - I eat my food, 99% of the time, in order -- starting with the meats and generally saving my favorite veggie for last. Lots of people are like this but I don't get it - the joy of the plate is a bite of this, followed by a bite of that, etc

me too! - I hate coconut, asparagus and black-eyed peas.
whaaaaat??? i love coconut, asparagus is nummy too...and black-eyed peas i haven't had in a while...my dad used to make 'em a lot when i was growing up. black-eyed peas (with a little sugar sprinkled on top) + cornbread = - I like my pancakes with a little burn to 'em.
another thing with me: i don't say "pancakes", i say "pannycakes". i've called 'em that ever since i was a kid. - It's all about the ice water.
i'm an ice water fiend too. in fact i gotta fill up my cold water bottle when i get home...

i like the TASTE of coconut, but i don't like the texture. it's like having to eat damp fingernail clippings.

screw that--the one food on the plate that looks the tastiest to me, i'll eat that first.

No coffee.
No cola or anything else carbonated. No beer. Ever. No McDonalds (unless it's breakfast). No potato chips. Corn, tortilla or vegetable chips are okay, but potato chips = no. No milk. I may have skim a few times a year, but generally milk = bad. No plain ice cream. I like ice cream with the most crap that you can throw in it--nuts, fruit, chocolate chunks, cookie bits, etc. (except for cookie dough or marshmellows = gross). This kinda contradicts my no milk rule, but you asked for weird, right?

screw that--the one food on the plate that looks the tastiest to me, i'll eat that first. Man, I mix to the point where if I have some sort of meat w/ say mashed potatoes & a gravy of some kind here's what's on my fork: a dollop of mash, dip it in the gravy/sauce, hunk of meat @ the end & every now & again I'll throw the veggies in w/ the whole thing too, but I usually eat my veggies alone

I'm obsessive the other way. I have to eat a bite of this then a bite of that always in the same order so that if there are say, three different foods on my plate, the last three bites have to be one of each. grammar edit [Edited 6/12/06 12:32pm]

I lose my appetite if cilantro is used.
No lemon in/on anything(ice water, ice tea, fish, etc) For the most part, I stay away from fruits b/c of the acid.

Whenever I see the word "poupon" it reminds me of how my little sister said "coupon" when she was like a year old because she couldn't say hard "c" quite right. She also said "poffee" for coffee. OK, back to topic. HE'S COMING AGAIN

Ex-Moderator | I don't have a specific order of how I eat things, but I always save the last 2 bites for whatever my favorite thing was, so that'll be the last taste in my mouth.
