Doubtful. This looks horrible. Actually, I just saw the trailer and from that I ain't impressed. It looks worse than Rabbit's Mum's trailer in '8 Mile' "..My work is personal, I'm a working person, I put in work, I work with purpose.."

Doubtful. This looks horrible. Actually, it got pretty darn good reviews at Cannes and a very long standing ovation at the conclusion of the film there. Don't judge it quite yet. I for one am going on opening night.

That should be retitled.
NEW TITLE: the next big thing from Kevin Smith that's about to flop. Subtitle: The shits about to hit the fan. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

Kevin Smith has a specific audience. The movie cost $5mill to make..so it will make a profit on the first day of release, not to mention future dvd sales..
Kevin is a very funny man...just rent his "An Evening with Kevin Smith" sometime...his interaction with Prince is hilarious. Either way, Kevin can't lose...sure it's hard to catch lightening in a bottle twice. Clerks was a funny, edgy debut. Clerks 2 won't be the same, but I expect it to be a good Kevin Smith film Snootchie Bootchiesssss

I love love love Chasing Amy but it's strictly b/c the writing & most of the acting was good (I still don't get the appeal of Joey Lauren Adams)... but I hated Dogma & feel like Kevin doesn't really have a grip, not to mention zero "style" - & style is not necessary but it does make you feel like someone's steering the ship & you're not just floating through some fucked up story.
Anyway, I feel like this one is gonna be stale... I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it

Anyway, I feel like this one is gonna be stale... Chasing Amy was great...as with any of the Kevin Smith movies, what I like so much about it was the dialogue. Same with Dogma...listen to the intelligence as Kevin questions his own faith. It's all about the dialogue..he's a dialogtician!
