I thought Pierce Brosnan was really good.
But i will have to go with Sir Sean, hes tha man. woot!
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Hmmm having seen all the movies, and liking what each actor brought to the table.

I Think Brosnan really pulls if off. I think he was able to combine the Connery Masculinity and the Moore british wit.

He won me over in that scene where he's driving the tank down a street in moscow and during the explosions and chaos, he just sudtly fixes his tie.

I hate this question! lol

When I was a teenager, I was the biggest James Bond geek. Ever. boxed I can't believe I'm admitting this lurking but I went through a phase where, before I'd leave for school, I had to watch one of the opening sequences and the title song. confused Twerp. rolleyes I still go to watch the new movies and stuff but I'm nowhere near as obsessed as I used to be. Thank God. lol

In answer to the question:

Sean is the original and best but my actual favourite is Roger. nod He's the one that I grew up with. nod

Just so long as it isn't Roger Moore or George Lazenby, I'm happy.

George Lazenby was laughable

Roger Moore started out fine, but the films of the late 70's & early 80's almost turned into spoofs of the genre.

Timothy Dalton I enjoyed... He was a somewhat darker, driven Bond

Pierce Brosnan rocked!! I only wish that NBC would have let him take the role in the 80's. Damn Remington Steele

However, the pentultimate Bond is Mr. Connery. He is, and forever will be, the image that pops into my head whenever I hear the name James Bond.

From first to worst:

Sean Connery - the man
Pierce Brosnan - but he could easily be co-number #1 if he had better scripts/films to work with
Roger Moore - too much humor
Timothy Dalton - not enough humor
George Lazenby - eh

I think Connery and Moore were both great in their own ways. Couldn't choose between those.

I look like a little bit like Timothy Dalton, i got told recently, so he also gets my vote, despite every one else's apparent hatred of him. mad

Timothy Dalton's first outing as Bond, The Living Daylights, has to be the most underrated of the series. I saw it recently and I realised it's a great little spy thriller. Unfortunately, it got followed up with Licence To Kill which almost killed the whole Bond franchise.

"Bond...Jane Bond."
