Ladybugs!!! A ladybug landed on me today, she walked around on my hand (and it tickled), before she finally flew away
They are so beautiful Too bad i didn`t think of taking a picture Did you know: - There are nearly 5,000 different kinds of ladybugs worldwide - A female ladybug will lay more than 1000 eggs in her lifetime - A ladybug beats its wings 85 times a second when it flies - Ladybugs chew from side to side and not up and down like people do - If you squeeze a ladybug it will bite you, but the bite won't hurt - The spots on a ladybug fade as the ladybug gets older - The male ladybug is usually smaller than the female - Ladybugs are good luck because they are the nannies to the fairies. So if you see one there is sure to be a fairy colony nearby. typo [Edited 6/11/06 13:37pm]

my daughter loves ladybugs. that's her symbol at preschool... so i call her my little ladybug. she catches them in our backyard, and is so pleased with herself when she gets one!
the other day she was on the front porch and turned to me and said "mommy, i'm trying to put my ladybug back together b/c i squished her so i'm trying to put her back together."

I love to hear stories like that, it almost makes me wish i was a kid again. Every time my mother found a ladybug she used to put it in my hands and tell me to wait for it to fly away, and make a wish (damn, i forgot to make a wish today )

I can see why you`re sick of them, when it`s that much of them and they come inside the house, it`s a problem. I remember my 2 year away at school, i lived in a small place which crawled with some weird bugs, in Norway we call them "Kaffedyr", which would mean something like "Coffee-bugs" (!) They have a hard dark shell, and that`s basically what they look like, like a little striped shell walking around

friggin lady bugs i cant stand the things anymore that is the last thing i was expecting to read!! awww mach... it was like that with grasshoppers when i was young you had to wear lace up shoes because if you wore anything that wasn't tight a grasshopper would end up in your shoe and go squish

My mom always told me lady bugs are good luck,if they land on you that means good fortune is coming your way
Mach you are extremely lucky! One year our church got robbed. The following Sunday the whole back wall was covered in lady bugs. A few months later we received a donation and the church got remodeled I love lady bugs! The last time a ladybug landed on me, I went shopping...and it was sales galore I just like to believe it "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"
