I think designerz chose certain lookz to tell some sort of story visually. And also, i've slowly started to learn that the reason why they chose these girlz is cause they do just want them as moving mannequins as such! I mean yeah it does suck in a sense, cause the imagez portrayed are so extreme, and to expect a girl to try and immulate that is just ridiculous. I once had a customer admire the signage for the company im working for and liked her 'fresh look' and admired the signage for Elizabeth Arden next to me with Catherine Zeta-Jones and was all up in arms saying 'THIS is what i have to try and be like, you really gotta be THAT good looking to have that much of a natural look' My reaction was a bit I thought shit, i don't feel the need to look LIKE that. I choose the way i wanna look sometimez it's like THAT and sometimez it's something else sheesh. It annoyed me when she said that Cause i didnt think she was unattractive. It was just stupid! I just wanted to tell her to get over it,it'z signage!

In another sense, some fashion is more art than everyday wearable practical clothing. No one is expected to look like that every day. Models are just part of the canvas. Hair, make-up, the outfit all that stuff really hides the true person behind all that.
That's the fashion I like the best. The crazy outlandish fashion for fashion's sake stuff.

Yeah! Exactly. That's how i felt. IT's more an expression of a mood or idea rather than 'i gotta dress and look like this cause i see it everywhere and therefore i am surrendering to what is "dictated" - quote/unquote cause they THINK it's dictated, more rather it is just an IDEA...make of it what you will- know what i'm saying.
