Have you noticed how some folks look just ghostly, ill and pail even though they aren't?

The above photo is that of Marco Boogers, an ex-footballer who used to play for my favourite club, West Ham. He memorably got sent off within moments of coming on as a sub against Manchester United, then disappeared. West Ham then received a note from Boogers’ doctor in Holland saying that the poor fellow had gone mad. Further enquiries by the club seemed to back up this view. They discovered that Boogers had retreated to the Dutch countryside, where he was living in a caravan!



Other ghostly folks in my opinion include the ex-Suede singer, Brett Anderson and 'the stiff' from Ghostbusters who walked in the park with Dana Barrett.

Do you know any ill-looking folks? Who do you think looks a bit ghostly?

yeah, last week at the festival i saw a band perform and they had
a guitarplayer who was so pail he looked like death warmed up but
was still strangely attractive. i like people who are so pale you
think they could die on you any minute

i love being pale altho i can't help but get a tan in summer,
since i have to walk my dog 3 times a day and cannot avoid the
sun.

That's Ok- we will look young even when we are 70- all of the other women will look all leathery.. we will be soft and smooth..Ha!!
