..out to sea for weeks at the time, freezing waters, long hours and the possibility of falling over board just to catch crabs?!? ... used to be Jenny Sikes and a bottle of Boones in the back of a Oldsmobile would get ya all the crabs you'd ever want...

DUDE!!! I watched a marathon of this shit one weekend (a long boring weekend that could't be helped, lol) - it's really addictive!!! And that shit is so dangerous, the crabs are fucking HUGE... I heard these guys get like $50,000 A PIECE for just ONE CRAB RUN because it's so specialized, so lucrative, the time frame to catch them is small and it's so dangerous. Living to die and I'll die to live again - 360 degrees - comprehend | |

Yea, the fact that if the boat breaks down or equipment fails on a single run (which lasts for weeks I think) makes it really significant b/c they're fucked for the whole YEAR Which makes the show that much more exciting/dramatic (awful, I know)  It's pretty compelling
