Stupid question about homosexuality in Dear Abby today The Captain was discouraged by humanity today when I saw a letter from a grandmother who inquired about her grandson who was gay. She asked Abby if perhaps circumcision might cure him of his orientation. Abby said she would have to do some research and get back to him...okay actually she put him in her place and noted several prominent Jewish gay figures like David Geffen and others. The fact that this old bitty thinks this, that being gay can somehow be "cured" in this matter just showed me that we have a long way to go in this society.
