You can only understand how annoying that is once youve worked in retail. Its just so disrespectful! My mother is a really nice person, but when shes in a shop she just leaves everything everywhere! Im always like, "someones gotta clean that up you know!" She just doesnt get it.

pissed

My boyfriend does that too. It pisses the hell out of me. His excuse is that the employees are paid to clean up after him! pissed

I dont leave clothes messy, but in cheapo places like MacDonalds, I refuse to clean up after me.. I leave the mess for the workers, cos they are paid to clean up.. and the food is so crap I am angry, so refuse to clean up, plus they are too busy chatting and need to do some work to fill up their day..

so I really am killing them with kindness.. wink

Better for them to shop like pigs than eat like pigs. You should see down at the Eaton Centre. 90% of the people shopping are women. One of the most pathetic things i have ever seen was on CNN. There was a sale on wedding dresses. Women were lined up around the block first thing in the morning. When they opend the doors there was a stampede. Very sad.

Those things are fucking expensive, if there was a good discount on them that just makes sense shrug

EXACTLY!!! Wedding dresses are fucking expensive, so if a woman has seen the one she wants and it is discounted, well why not?? I have seen many a man queue for concert tickets, football tickets, sales in shops (non clothing) but always ppl point out women women women!! Dont guys realise that it is women who shop mostly, and the food on the table, or new socks in their drawer, or the toilet paper in the cupboard didnt happen by magic??? Us women had to buy it!!!! mad

i had FOUR different middle aged women (who should know better) break items yesterday and then just walk off (one even tried to run with a teenage boy). each time, i brought my high school associate over to within 2 feet of where they were, and addressed him like this: "you know James, I am so glad that your parents raised you to be a responsible young man who at the very least would notify somebody that you broke something that you did not own and that you were sorry--it's a shame more supposedly grown up people don't act like that." (this is our running joke evrytime somebody does something like this). then i usually add on "and i WISH the person who broke it would part their lips to me because that is TRIFLING!"..and they never do.

Last time I was in the Marks & Spencers queue, the woman ahead of me dropped a bottle of wine and totally left it there. She walked to the next cashier like it never happened, like it wasn't her fault, and there were a bunch of employees rushing around trying to clean it up.

I can't believe the nerve of some people. And I'm not saying it's ONLY women. But it depends on where you work. e.g. wedding dresses - duh, it's gonna be women. same goes for fabric stores. you know.

not all women of course, but quite a few of ya'll! women try on 15 pairs of shoes and leave all of them in a mixed-up pile. women take clothes off the rack and throw them on the floor or over the rack when they're done with them, instead of hanging the garment back on the hanger and then back onto the rack. men don't act like this, so why is it that women do? confused

I have done some research on the diffrences between men and women and how they interact in society. Most of the womens' rudenesses in social events such as shopping stem from the past.

MEN: use to be hunters, we had to work in groups to achieve the kill and the bringing home of the meat.

WOMEN: use to be forgers, a semi-lone act of scaverging for berries and such useful items. If these women didn't get to the mushrooms before other women did, they lost out.

Thusly, Men tend to work within a pack, social event, trying to help out others acchieve their goals, while women have to try to block others from achieving their goals.

This can be clearly seen in a supermarket. 90% of the time its a woman blocking the isle, with the men there try to get out of everyone's way.

I know how it feels to have to clean up behind folks in dressing rooms. I did my stint at a thrift store. I will never forget this chick had a basket load of clothes and tried on every last thing in the basket. I was a rack full. She left all of it on the floor. I wanted to beat her and her whole families ass! I know the stuff was for $.99 but damn. Could you at least put the shit on hangers and just leave it in the stall.

The one time you will catch me being a bitch when I have to try on bras. You know your size, pick the same maker and design and assume it will fit like the other one. Bullshit! I remember I was taking off one of them and was so mad that when I took it off I shot put the fucker across the damn room. I was wrong and I know it but I was mad as hell. It was either irregular or mislabelled but I was upset. Now, I just buy them and go home and try them on. I keep the receipt and go back and exchange it. Less damage and drama that way. lol

why do men stand around outside womens changing rooms looking embarrassed, waiting for their partner to come out and show them that new skirt/top so that they can nod their approval quickly and get the hell out. It cracks me up, I never ask another halfs opinion on clothes, as they always tell you it looks good anyhow shrug even if it doesnt.

There are few things worse being in retail than working the fitting room, and having some dumbass bitch leave a pile of swimsuits all tangled together.

Oooh also when parents would let their little monsters run around yanking clothes off of hangers! mad

If I try something on I always put it back on the hanger and give it back to the assistant.

I hate bitchy shoppers, elbowing you out of the way and sniffing around the clothes racks as if theyre shopping in Gucci, only they're in H&M and carrying a FAKE Prada bag.

power trip losers.
