why do women shop like pigs? not all women of course, but quite a few of ya'll! women try on 15 pairs of shoes and leave all of them in a mixed-up pile. women take clothes off the rack and throw them on the floor or over the rack when they're done with them, instead of hanging the garment back on the hanger and then back onto the rack. men don't act like this, so why is it that women do? you look better on your facebook page than you do in person

There are few things worse being in retail than working the fitting room, and having some dumbass bitch leave a pile of swimsuits all tangled together. Oooh also when parents would let their little monsters run around yanking clothes off of hangers!

Women shop like pigs to help them empathize with us better.

You can only understand how annoying that is once youve worked in retail. Its just so disrespectful! My mother is a really nice person, but when shes in a shop she just leaves everything everywhere! Im always like, "someones gotta clean that up you know!" She just doesnt get it.

I can understand the frustration, but it doesn't help when the racks are jam packed and things fall off the hangers when you touch them.
I put them back on the hangers, but I understand why people don't do it. It's really thoughtless to make a mess of things on shelves. It's easier to find what you want if everything is in order. TELL me about it...as a person serving customerz AND as a customer myself!!
The other day, because i'm working at a department store we have a huge ass stocktake sale! Every hour a big sale was announced in a certain department! I was in the ladies room when i heard '40% off all watches' so i thought 'mad!' and went down for a squiz! Did you know, that even when i was at the front of the counter- i was just looking for one particular watch which they didn't have anyway...but the women- i got knocked several timez by a sign on the head because they kept pushing, and most of them managed to push me aside OH. For crying out fucking loud man!! I just wanted to have a look-see sheesh!! I alwayz try and not leave a mess- knowing how it feelz working in the retail environment. Some people have no empathy at all...it'z just 'me me me...mine mine mine..now now now' it'z just rudeness taken to another level. Shitz me up the wall!! No hablo espanol,no!
Pero hablo ingles..ssii muy muy bien... "Come into my world..." Missy Quote of da Month: "yeah, sure, that's cool...wait WHAT?! "

I have to say I think it's more of a "messy person who doesn't give a fuck" thing than a woman thing BUT since women are bigger clothes-hounds than men maybe we're a bit more guilty
I never do that shit. But I also can't stand to shop in places that are chaotic in general - I avoid in-store sales (dumb for the wallet, smart for my sanity), can't do Ross or Nordstrom Rack or anything too "outlety", the shit works my nerves.

I ALWAYS put everything back exactly where I found it.
And I'm with Calhoun with the sale and outlet thing. I'd rather pay full price for something in a nicely presented shop, than have to dig through piles of cheap crap just because it's on sale. I know I won't wear it then anyway, and then I'll have a closet full of stuff I just end up giving away because I bought it because it was marked down, and not because I really needed it or even liked it. Better for them to shop like pigs than eat like pigs. You should see down at the Eaton Centre. 90% of the people shopping are women. One of the most pathetic things i have ever seen was on CNN. There was a sale on wedding dresses. Women were lined up around the block first thing in the morning. When they opend the doors there was a stampede. Very sad.

I used to work in a fabric store and once we found a quarter flat (a pre-cut quarter of a yard of calico fabric used for quilting) that some dumbass mom had put on her baby as a DIAPER. the thing was filled with poop. plus the "diaper" was shoved in between bolts of - what else - expensive as shit wedding material! i had FOUR different middle aged women (who should know better) break items yesterday and then just walk off (one even tried to run with a teenage boy). each time, i brought my high school associate over to within 2 feet of where they were, and addressed him like this: "you know James, I am so glad that your parents raised you to be a responsible young man who at the very least would notify somebody that you broke something that you did not own and that you were sorry--it's a shame more supposedly grown up people don't act like that." (this is our running joke evrytime somebody does something like this). then i usually add on "and i WISH the person who broke it would part their lips to me because that is TRIFLING!"..and they never do. you look better on your facebook page than you do in person
