lol ah but you see - I cant afford fags!! Or marmite!

It just all comes from the simple fact that natural fresh produce is cheaper than frozen prepacked stuff. So im living on vegetables nod Meat is a treat!

pout

not affording fags is good. wink

but come on, marmite is the cheapest thing in the world! You can buy a loaf of tesco value bread every day, and one jar of marmite, and eat for the whole week for less than £4! biggrin

I would still do that right now if my missus would allow me to. sad

lol

Or.... buy a big bag of potatoes for about a pound and put whatever you can find on them! Much better for you!

And just because I cant afford fags doesnt mean I dont succumb to them! anyway innocent

edit - damn the org today! it wont let me reply, I have to copy everything I write and do it twice! mad

It's funny, but I assumed coleslaw was an american invention....I have no idea why.....but I see it at places like KFC and I guess I assumed....it's shredded cabbage right? With some kind of sauce.... boxed

Oh I dont know where it came from...you get it at kfc and the like here too, but it seems to be more of a part of a salad than a side dish by itself. Actually the only places that offer it in the same way they would offer actual salad are american or americanised places...Its hard to tell because so many restaurants/bars/food sections in supermarkets are americanised in some way, its happening everywhere a little, in good and bad ways I guess!

I think its just cabbage and carrot and mayonnaise nod Yummy, but fattening! lol
