me too, that one in the roof of the mouth sad

I'm not sure what's a tooth and what's a filling anymore. My teeth look like one of those old fashioned signposts with several towns pointed out with the mileage, all pointing in different directions shrug

I'm going to get a brace. Where's Carrie? I wonder how she got on.

yep--there's a huge gap in the back of my mouth since the crappy filling that was put there actually fell apart one day a couple years back while i was eating.

thing of it is i can't afford a dentist in order to get it re-filled, so it's still there. pout thankfully it ain't too painful.

I haven't gotten them yet. sad

I'm trying to figure out the best way to finance them. I'm calling my dentist today actually to get that all worked out.

I looked into here. It cost 40,000 baht for a basic brace. That's around 1000 dollars US. I plan to buy like crazy these whitening kits before xmas and then next year I'll get a brace put on.

ok, I'm not making fun of you in any way, but do you brush and floss 2 or 3 times a day? That will make the biggest difference.

The whiting kits are amazing in how they work and with so little money.
The difference between them and a professional job is they take weeks as opposed to just walking in and out of the office.

I don't floss, but I brush usually 3 times a day, sometimes 2, and I brush all around and on my tongue too (always brush after breakfast, always before bed, occasionally miss after lunch if I'm out). Those crest whitestrips you recommended worked very well, but I've smoked since then and I want to do something about it before I go back to the UK. I've seen these Thai tray things that apparently are very good so I'm going to get some of those and do that for a few months.

why needles? if a filling falls out surely they can just
refill the tooth after cleaning it up and roughening the
edges of the hole again?

i've never had any surgical work done with sedation, well
the wisdom teeth removal yes, but fillings and such is
better without being stunned imo, lol.

the drilling hurts for like 3 minutes, the effects of the
shot in your mouth takes hours and hours to wear off plus
it's bad as fuck for your system.

no painkillers and no stun-shots. go european biggrin
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

yup, i had a large filling fall out. they couldnt re-fill it, I had to crown it. so I decided to have most of my silver fillings removed and fill them with white filling or crown them...this cost just under 5 grand. I still have 1 more crown and 2 more fillings to go.....
Say it's just a dream...
U open up ur eyes and come 2 realize
u simply imagined this
So u lean over and give her a kiss
Here on earth, here on earth,
with u it's not so bad
Here on earth, here on earth
eye don't feel so sad
Stay right here

sad Im not sure whats a tooth and whats a filling either anymore. I have awful teeth, through no fault of my own. Big source of heartache neutral A filling fell out of my tooth last summer and then the shadow of a tooth that was left surrounding it broke away, so now theres a shell of rotten tooth and nothing to fill, and I need to get the whole tooth out! DAMMIT! mad

FAUXIE!! Dont buy the whitening kits before the brace! The brace will scratch the enamel off of the front of your teeth - I have so little enamel naturally that they refuse to give me a brace. So it will be a waste of money. Double check with a dentist but Im pretty sure the chemical from the whitening kit will damage your teeth which will only be made worse by the brace. Although I guess that depends on how professional the kit is, you know, what it involves...Do the brace first, then the whitening, and youll be ok nod
