Hey Sly fans, more Stallone news.... Birthday Bash Held for Sylvester Stallone
By Associated Press Mon Jun 5, 10:23 AM LAS VEGAS - It was a Hollywood _ and a Planet Hollywood _ reunion at a 60th birthday celebration for Sylvester Stallone. The "Rocky" and "Rambo" star was joined by fellow Planet Hollywood founders Bruce Willis and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger for the bash Sunday night at Stallone's soon-to-open Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Stallone's wife, Jennifer, threw the party, which included disco dancing and a birthday serenade from Tom Jones. Other celebrities in attendance included John Travolta and his wife, Kelly Preston, David Spade and James Caan. Stallone is writing and directing "Rocky Balboa," the sixth "Rocky" film, slated for release Dec. 22. That was the best one. For some reason, i must like the fact he has to deal with growing old, and now finially, being torn down and back to being a bum again. Past glories and all that. I can relate in my own way. And the scene where he is in his old gym, remembering his old coach is poignant too. | |
