Christmas for Sale! I've just been flipping through the TV Channels and see they are selling Christmas stuff already

That's nothing new. They've had "Christmas in July" sales forever.
Some people like to start VERY early so that they can enjoy the holiday season and not deal with the holiday shopping crowds.  I'm firmly planted in denial |
