The Weekend is Over..... Now What? Do you look forward to going back to work, school, etc. Do you find the weekend too short to relax and do things you want to do? Ohh purple joy oh purple bliss oh purple rapture! REAL MUSIC by REAL MUSICIANS - Prince "I kind of wish there was a reason for Prince to make the site crash more" ~~ Ben |

too short. especially after last weekend's 3 days. Three days are perfect: one to do the things you gotta do, i.e. laundry, cleaning up, phone calls, etc. One day to socialize. And one day to chillax. And my sleep pattern gets all jacked with 2 days off. http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

That's such a good idea. The weekend is never long enough. I'd be happy to work longer hours Monday-Thursday if that meant getting Friday-Sunday off. 3 day weekend... [Edited 6/5/06 1:29am]

this was a great weekend! One of my best buddies got married and I had been so busy for months preparing the wedding as master of ceremony, it went down absolutely great! Now it's over, it kinda leaves me in a vacuum.....

So were you the toast master, etc., Aksel? You were made for that role. Were they ready for the bierman?? I had a great weekend, too. Stayed in Friday nite and chilled; Saturday, sat in the back garden and caught some sun. (My French housemate said I looked like a 'prawn'. Is that a compliment? ), then went out in the night, got in at 7am ; Sunday, chilled, then went out for a few drinks last night. Everyone's in 'Summer' mode at the moment, I love it.

That's it - you must become a circus ringleader or a tv presenter. Ask Charlotte for presenting tips. Glad it went so well.

Working in same office ive been in for a year now, surveying/project management consultancy firm. Its ok, but Im getting very itchy feet - as you know! Glad you had a nice weekend! Welcome to the world of work! Thanks, hun. I got chatted up by a transvestite on Saturday night. Wanted my number. I politely declined. Re: Belfast - it might be worth the experience. Will they pay for your accommodation/living costs? Sounds like they have a lot of faith in you.

My life is one long weekend. The only way I notice that it is actually the weekend is the population of prince.org dropps off. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

Weekends always go by to fast. Sometimes I work on weekends but its no big deal. I can always sneak some fun in no matter what day of the week it is.

I have been working straight for the past two weeks, and so, today, Monday and Tuesday, are my first days off -- my weekend. I'm taking them full.
Sorry to everyone who has to go back to work or school, or both. Heh. I'll be home resting, but at the same time, cleaning yp the mess I have left for the past 14 days. Look at those dishes in the sink! Do I have any clean underwear? Hmmm, well, these will do, for now.

[Edited 6/5/06 1:29am] For a while back in March when I was at school for my military job, we had three-day weekends every other week. We would go to school for 10-hours a day five days a week, then do it for four. So, every other Friday -- three-day weekend, woot! But I am back from military class, so it has been back to my other job in the civilan world. The news never stops, not even on the weekend.

Monday's are depressing for me. Actually Sunday nights are, because that's when I go back home...all alone and have nothing to do. And I'm usually feeling the effects of whatever I poisoned my body with over the weekend.
I have slept maybe 3 hours since Friday. It was a good weekend though!
