I mean, she has a fairly gawky physique and she bears a striking resemblance to her dad, Jon Voigt. But she has wonderful carriage, enunciation and diction -- which translates well on film.

And, depending on the guy, appearing unhinged and perpetually in states of undress can propel even the least talented of starlets into fame. (Sharon Stone comes to mind.)

Personally, I think it was the momentum and industry buzz she garnered for constantly agreeing to nudity in scenes where it was gratuitous and did absolutely nothing for the film. In so many films ... that I just happened to see ... she'd be nude in a scene and it didn't help the plot at all. Hackers and Pushing Tin, for instance.
