I have recently changed where I do my mammography clinicals. I went from a small, slow paced facility to a huge, world caliber, very fast paced facility. In a way, I went from being a big fish in a small pond to being a small fish in a huge pond.

I think I like the small pond better. Both have their pro's, but the biggest drawback to where I am now is how much time it keeps me from home and how EXHAUSTED I am when I do finally get there.

The small pond is much better, especially for upward mobility and flexibility.

oh, and I work for the 3rd largest pond of the type of company I'm employed at.

I have been at the top of the big pond and its not all that great...I have also been at the top of the small pond...not all that great....I have been at the bottom of both ponds...not that great....now I am looking for a happy middle in the small or big pond.
