News recently broke that Jill Marie Jones who plays Toni Childs on the sitcom "Girlfriends" will no longer be on the Show. We strongly feel that Toni Childs is a major character and is needed on the show. Without Toni the show will never be what it used to be. Toni is the character that makes us laugh, cry, and think about issues in society the most. We would love it if Jill Marie Jones came back onto the show. Girlfriends is one of the last urban, minority sitcoms on television and it is imperative that it continues to run. In order for it to succeed, Toni Childs needs to be one of the characters. Jill Marie Jones we love you and really would like to see you in the seventh season as well as more seasons to come.

Please forward this petition or the link to this petition to as many people as you know. Now you guys know that when Toni leaves, the sitcom will fail and it will be just another good form of black entertainment down the drain...we don't want that. Even if you're not fond of the show, think of it as a contributor to the progression of black people as a whole. So please try to help. Thanks.
